I decided that I'd try my hand at repairing some of my bike's fairings with a limited (read: nonexistent) budget, and here are the results.
A few pictures of the tail fairing after gluing all of the cracks. There was some pretty serious surface unevenness due to plastic warping and bending.
Tried to sand the surfaces level, but quickly realized that wasn't going to cut it for the bigger cracks.

And the winner of the Decay's coveted "eh, close enough" award for paint color was Rust-Oleum Apple red. A pretty decent match considering that it was the only plastic compatible red spray paint at home depot.
And here it is, finished. Not perfect, but looks worlds better than it did, and will certainly tide me over until I get a replacement fairing set this summer.
No pictures yet of it installed on the bike, it's way too cold and dark outside for me to do anything in my unheated and poorly lit garage.

Well, the red is slightly darker and has less orange pigment than the Honda paint. But I'm only really able to tell because I know exactly where the blend starts.
It will definitely pass the 5 foot test though!

That's a pretty decent fix. Give yourself a pat on the shoulder and a warm drink.
